Subway & Bus

The easiest way in.

  • 2, 3, 4, 5, Q, R — Atlantic Ave-Barclays Center for the top of the avenue.
  • R train — Union St, 9th St, or Prospect Ave for the middle & south.
  • F & G trains — 4th Ave–9th St, right at the corridor's middle.
  • B63 bus — Runs the length of the Avenue.

Parking & Biking

Two wheels are better.

Hop on a Citi Bike to 5th Ave and park near Bergen St, or cycle down the avenue to another dock — they run all the way to 14th Street. Metered street parking runs along 5th and its side streets, with paid lots near 9th Street.

5th Avenue has continuous curb cuts at every corner. Not every subway station is elevator-equipped — the accessible stations closest to the Avenue are Atlantic Ave–Barclays Center and 7th Ave (F/G).
