The Gate opened in 1997 to a small and supportive local “crowd” parched for quality craft beer. Founded on the desire to spread the word of ingenuity and taste, The Gate has forged longstanding relationships with the trailblazers as well as those representing the craft beer phenomenon that followed. Since that quiet beginning, The Gate has served a rotating and unique blend of kegged ales numbering in the tens of thousands.
