June Brooklyn Pride

We love sponsoring the fair and parade that fills 5th Avenue with pride. Go to Brooklyn Pride’s website for event details and how to book a space.

October 31st  6:30pm       Park Slope Halloween Parade

The Park Slope Fifth Avenue BID is a sponsor of the Park Slope Halloween Parade, which runs from 14th and 7th Ave, turns on 3rd St and ends on 5th Ave. Dress up and see the parade. 5th Avenue merchants are encouraged to parade with us.

November    Holiday Tree Lighting on Small Business Saturday

4th St and 5th Ave     We don’t just switch on the lights, we celebrate the beginning of the season and Small Business Saturday. Your 5th Avenue merchants pay for the Holiday Lights, Holiday Tree and Menorah for you to enjoy. Santa, music, puppetry, treats and free shopping bags at the Tree lighting.

December  Santa Visits

Santa comes to 5th Avenue, from Dean to 18th Sts, every Saturday leading up to Christmas Day. He might not ride in a sleigh; he usually finds a Cadillac more to his liking. Check back for details where you can find him, tell him what you want for Christmas or Hannukah and get a candy cane. Shop, eat and drink local and you will see the carolers singing in and outside of the local businesses.
