Hey Park Slope! We were sad to have to cancel our A Taste of Fifth event, which was scheduled for April 1st at The Grand Prospect Hall. Just because we are all practicing social distancing, doesn’t mean we can’t eat some great local food and raise money for our local community charities, right?

Here’s the idea:

• On Wednesday, April 1st, order delivery or takeout from one of the amazing participating restaurants from A Taste of Fifth (below) or any restaurant in 11215 or 11217 (hey, everyone needs help right now) and take a photo of you enjoying the food. Post it on Instagram/Twitter/Facebook and hashtag #atasteoffifthtakeout. We will share some of the of the photos on social media and,
• We will randomly choose 5 winners to get $50 gift certificates to your favorite Park Slope restaurant, paid for by the Park Slope Fifth Avenue BID. And…
• We encourage you to donate online to the amazing local charities that were supposed to be a part of A Taste of Fifth through this link https://donorbox.org/tof2020 They need your help now more than ever!
