Just a few more days until Halloween!
Don’t forget the Park Slope Civic Council Halloween Parade, which kicks off on Monday from the corner of 7th Avenue and 14th Street at 6:30 pm. The route turns left on 3rd Street and ends at Washington Park on 5th Avenue.
We’ll be walking the parade with our giant pink puppet Howie Halloween (see above). He is pink in honor of the American Cancer Society’s Breast Cancer Awareness Month. BID Executive Director Mark Caserta, who will be operating Howie, is raising funds for Breast Cancer research this month. If you can, please donate to his campaign via this link.
