Though a first-time candidate for office, J.D. is a lifelong Democrat raised with strong values in community. He’s running for Congress in Iowa against Steve King because he decided he wanted change and could not sit on the sidelines.
While he is still an avid sports fan, loves to play cards, and
enjoys truck stop coffee and Miller High Life, since he kicked off his campaign in 2017, he’s been fighting to bring values and integrity back into our representation.
