On September 25th, 2017, saxophonist Freddy DeBoe was featured in an article in his hometown’s newspaper, The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, paying tribute to the late great Charles Bradley who he performed with around the world for five years. He stated in this article that Charles and he shared a love for the music of Motown soul legend Jr. Walker and the Allstars, and that Charles motivated him to continue to fulfill his dreams of becoming a great musician. Formed by two brothers in 2013 and inspired by thebeauty of northern Michigan, Remnose has been playing all over the midwest over the last severa years. Notes of alt-country and 90’s-era grunge spill out between soft guitar melody and smooth swells of lap steel and synth. After releasing their latest EP in the summer of 2017 entitled “What We See in Our Sleep”, the group has been committed to getting out and playing to as many unseen audiences as possible.
